SF: Prints at Legion of Honor

kollwitz's work 'tod, frau & kind', as well as a study for it, is part of the exhibit 'Rembrandt to Thiebaud: A Decade of Collecting Works on Paper' at san francisco's palace of the legion of honor museum. i'd seen reproductions of this work before, but nothing had prepared me for how chilling it is when truly face to face with it.

the exibit is from june 23, 2007 — october 7, 2007

highly recommended. :)

Holy Cow! Another fan of Kathe K??? This is such a pleasant surprise. I see you live in SF, are you familiar with the Pasquale Iannetti Art Gallery? They have some great Kathe prints.
